Global Sales Manager – Emergency Evacuation Slides

North America with frequent international travel

Open position - Urgent


DART has been growing at a rapid pace over the last few years. Although mainly specialized in rotary wing equipment through a variety of STCs, including emergency flotation devices, DART has successfully entered the fixed-wings evacuation slide arena though an STC for the B767 and other repair capabilities. Looking at expanding its presence in that market place, DART is looking for a highly motivated individual that can lead our sales activities and identify new slides project opportunities.


  • In charge of creating and executing the sales plan and strategy for current product offering
  • Identify the new project(s) DART should focus on through market research and customer feedback
  • Good knowledge of PMA/STC sales
  • Secure lead customers for mid to long-term projects
  • In charge of closing deals and meeting annual sales target
  • In charge of the customer relationships (participation in site visits, events, trade shows, etc.)
  • Visit customers on a regular basis with a structured approach depending on the potential of the customer
  • Actively promote the wide range of DART capabilities to customers
  • Act as a problem solver with the customers and work with engineering/operations to come out with customized solutions
  • Prepare encompassing offers / contractual agreement with customers (fleet solutions, value proposition, supply agreement)
  • Deliver the product/service sales pitch and sell the value proposition (benefits, $$$ savings, etc.)
  • Have authority to negotiate prices & contracts within an agreed margin with the organization
  • Collects new product development ideas from customers
  • Collects and provides feedback from customers on competitor’s products
  • Participates in new year pricing strategies


  • Years of experience: Over 10 years in selling to airlines. Previous sales or supply of evacuation slides preferred
  • Proven track record in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in dealing with airlines and slide maintenance shops
  • Deep understanding of the buying cycles of large airlines
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for results and customer focus
  • A university degree in business administration, commerce or any related fields is a strong asset
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with the executive level (VP’s and President)
  • Fluent in English. Basic working knowledge of another local language is a nice-to-have
  • Experience working with a CRM preferred
  • Strong organization and time management skills


  • Compensation will be based on experience
  • Compensation will consist of a base salary and a bonus incentive program based on annual sales performance
