Manager of Quality

Broussard, Louisiana

The Quality Manager is responsible to lead all aspects of Quality Assurance in full compliance with the FAA part 145 and key customer standards. He/she is accountable to define, implement and direct processes and personnel to ensure the delivery of products that are recognized and valued in the industry for their quality over the intended product lifecycle. The Quality Manager works daily with operations and management to schedule, optimize and control inspection activities and to enforce requirements as specified.


  • Set-up and operate CNC machines.
  • Professional experience in FAA part 145 repair station environment, especially in quality assurance and quality control
  • Direct all quality activities in the plant.
  • High degree of customer and vendor contact
  • Work with all departments to develop and implement corrective action
  • Responsible for quality accountabilities of everyone in in the plant, including supervisors and hourly personnel
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statistical process control, continual improvement process, and data analysis
  • Develops training, conducts classes and participates in related meetings to provide general quality systems training.
  • Ability to communicate fluently; both in oral and written


7 years minimum experience as:

  • FAA repair station Quality Manager (accountable manager)
  • Managing FAA training program
  • Offshore Helicopter maintenance experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel
  • A&P license (preerred)
