Hawkesbury, ON., November 30, 2012 DART Helicopter Services welcomed Justin Trudeau and representatives from the local business community at DART Helicopter Services as part of Mr. Trudeau’s road trip in Eastern Ontario.
The delegation consisted of Justin Trudeau, Grant Crack, MPP of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, René Berthiaume, Mayor of Hawkesbury and over 30 representatives from local businesses. It was an opportunity for the various business leaders to appreciate DART’s impressive manufacturing capabilities and technical know-how in the aerospace sector. Mr. Trudeau and the delegation toured the facility where advanced and innovative products are being manufactured such as helicopter landing gear with the patented Round-I-Beam™ technology, Heli-Utility-Basket™, bearpaws, auxiliary fuel tanks, windows and other helicopter accessories. After meeting with the DART employees, Mr. Trudeau visited other local organizations in the area including McGill Manor and the Guelph University – Alfred Campus.
